kind of surprised that you a&m guys have hardeman rated so high. what do you guys think of him? top 150 player or top 200. would a&m have taken him if he committted to them when he committed to LSU?

I think we get Adams, but after that I have no idea. You'd think DB would be the one position that we could actually recruit well in, given Akina's pedigree. But I'm pretty pessimistic at this point.

Georgia offered Nick Watkins. Doubt we get him. Georgia never really recruits much in Texas

I am leaning OU on that one but you never know.

What's the status of Hardeman's LSU commitment? Will LSU take him? 247 still doesn't list him as a commit.

Well we were the favorites for Adams at one point, but who knows now. We seem to be looking at guys who aren't highly rated at the moment but could see a huge bump in time like Jyaz Jones and Derrick Dixon. I think we're still recruiting Watkins and Brown. But I haven't heard anything on Watkins lately. Last I heard, Alabama was in front but there on some Texas fans who think we lead for him. Then there's Brown, who supposedly grew up a Texas fan, yet now we can't even get a sniff.

Also, Inside Texas put out a story a couple of weeks ago saying we had a big lead for Paris, but I think they're totally full of shite, since Gerry and the 24/7 guys have pretty much said he's LSU's to lose.

Does he have any interest in running track in college, b/c LSU has a pretty great track program... Just sayin'

You're not getting a Bama legacy from Hoover.

Yeah I would agree ... they are totally full of shite. I haven't heard anything but LSU for Paris.

Brown is supposedly A&M and LSU but I could see that changing if Texas just had a kick arse year.

As for this ...

I fully expect them to be state Top 10 guys according to Ketch after they sign with Texas.

Just FYI, Tony's sister, Beloved, signed an LOI to run track at LSU yesterday.

TO the person who asked about Hardman, yes he is a take.

Our DB class will be stout.

Two other names not mentioned that we seem to be in on are Simmons and Bonney.

Personally, I think it looks like this come NSD:

1. 5* Paris
2. 5* Brown
3. 5* Jones
4. 4* Hardeman
5. 4* Alexander
6. Either Adoree Jackson or Bonney

Would be a hell of a haul!

A&M has Harvey, Collins, and will soon have DSG
LSU will soon have Brown and Paris
Freeman is going to TCU - coach is now there

Darrion Johnson has a big-time sip brother
Noone know what Adams will do though once a sip lean - no more

Nick Watkins is the prize that is actually still truly open

24/7 is pretty high on him and thinks he'll shoot up the rankings this year. He was injured his sophomore year so there's not much tape on him right now.

Nick Harvey will likely be a 5 Star, only question is if it as a DB or an ATH.

Nick Harvey will play DB for us... Noil is a receiver all the way. Both are exceptional athletes, though Harvey will probably be ranked higher. One of the best in Texas versus one of the best in LA.

Not necessarily right, but there it is...

I don't think that there is a real answer since we are recruiting Harvey as a CB and Noil as a WR.

They are both studs. Size and speed seems to be similar as are their rankings.

That's fine. We'll just have to settle for the #1 ranked DB in the country, Marlon Humphrey.
This, although I believe Brown has an offer.
