No it isn't. You are right you can only back count so many but you can take as many as you want. Your whole class could be EE

Wrong. You have to stay under the 85 player limit at all times.

I'm not sure where you got that, but schools are limited on the number of EEs they can take. A school can't ever go above the 85 limit, as previously mentioned.

Booth was told he could sign on signing day. We were filled for EE. He decided he didn't want to stay committed if he couldn't EE. A lot of us still like Booth a lot but he chose another path.

Mouhan wasn't told to look around at ALL. Mouhan was a take but his brother's at Cincy and our LB corps is stacked this cycle. He decided he'd rather play ball with his brother.

Both guys were pretty much told to look around. The coaches hasn't visited Mouhon in like 3 months, and it was a mutual decision from both parties. Once the coaches got Jakob Johnson and solidified Gavin Bryant, Mouhon lost his spot.

Booth got his spot taken by Malone.

Butch did the same thing at Cincinatti, and in his defense, he always finds them schools like Jabo Lee. This is the kind of recruiting you have to do to win in the SEC and he needs to keep recruiting like this to be successful.

Ryan Callahan posted an update on 247 about Hendrix.

Said he spoke to Hendrix's mother and she said that Dewayne is still committed to VOLS. They're looking forward to the in-home visit with Butch & Co. this week and she's not sure if Dewayne even wants to have an in-home visit with Missouri.

That was the first update.
Here's the quotes from the one that just came out

quote:

Dewayne Hendrix has been committed to Tennessee for the past three months, but he decided to return to Missouri over the weekend on an official visit to take one last look at the Tigers.

It wasn’t enough to change his mind about the Vols.

quote:

Denise Joy, the mother of the Top247 senior defensive end from O’Fallon (Ill.) said Monday night that she and Hendrix enjoyed their latest visit to Missouri, but he remains “committed to Tennessee” and doesn’t plan to visit any other schools this weekend.

quote:

“We thought the school was great, and we appreciate the coaching staff taking out time to show us around and have us on campus,” Joy said of Hendrix, who’s ranked the nation’s No. 117 overall player and No. 7 defensive end in the 247Sports Composite, which equally weighs prospect rankings and ratings from major recruiting media outlets.

quote:

at this point, we think that the best thing for him is to stay committed to the University of Tennessee.”

Tigers coach Gary Pinkel and his staff did their best to sell Hendrix on Missouri’s academic programs, she said, “as well as the possibility of early playing time.”

quote:

But Joy indicated that Hendrix no longer is giving the Tigers serious consideration, and she said they already have made that clear to the Vols, who had expressed concerns about Hendrix taking the visit to Missouri.

quote:

Asked whether Hendrix would consider visiting any other schools this weekend, Joy said, “No. It’s shut completely down.

quote:

Tennessee coach Butch Jones and some of the Vols’ other coaches are scheduled to make an in-home visit with Hendrix and his family later this week. Joy said she’s not sure whether Missouri will see Hendrix again.

“I think Tennessee’s supposed to be in Saturday,” Joy said. “I’m not sure what decision (has been made) about an in-home visit (with Missouri). I don’t know if they would even want to come if he’s still saying he’s verbally committed to Tennessee, so I’m not sure.”

And I could see the appeal of Mizzou for any DE recruits.

You are correct. Booth was told to GTFO and VOLS stopped recruiting Mouhon.

There will probably be another defection or two as well.

More confirmation that the Rivals100 DE is not one for Tennessee fans to worry about... I spoke with his coach today, and his expectations are that Dewayne signs with Tennessee next week. All signs have pointed that way from every corner of this recruitment, and just passing along more confirmation of that.
