So its locked in as a good scouting job? What if the dude gets to campus and catches 10 balls in his career? Good scouting job still?

Camps are worthless for anything besides exposing athleticism. There are a lot of great athletes, but not many great football players.

You are 1000% correct. Its just an example. Was Norwood or Lacy heavily recruited by LSU? Maybe Lacy was. Im just saying, Alabama has thrived off a lot of Louisiana talent that weren't even offered by LSU.

Moton is NOT undersized at all. He'll be a great fit at Bama.

What part of Louisiana is D'Iberville, MS in?

He was thinking of Kenny Bell, who didn't really do all that much at Bama. Or he was just totally mistaken, IDK.

Very sorry. Kenny Bell is one I was thinking of. Kenny would have been a solid #3-#4 for LSU this year, no doubt. A solid career. Thats just one off the top of my head though. Lacy also wasn't offered until very late if at all.

Hardly. He made some nice plays, but I wouldn't call his career solid.

You've thrived off of Louisiana talent, yet only one has even produced worth a shite?

No offense, but that is idiotic

Not really. He did make some fun plays, but other than making the occasional big play...he didn't do much.

Dropped a lot of balls.

And the one example couldn't get into LSU, supposedly. Which isn't saying Bama changed grades or anything, LSU might just have different class requirements or some shite. Gotta nip that in the bud before someone says I am flaming

That said, I fully expect Hootie and Cam Rob to contribute. Sims might get lost behind some of the other receivers Bama has coming in and on campus already, but he will catch some meaningful balls in his time there at least.

Sims making as many waves as he did in the Spring leads me to believe the staff is high on him. Now a speed guy, everyone knows that, but a reliable target who could bully DBs is all we can hope for.

Yup and Robert Foster as well. So much WR depth, we needed some of those guys to leave first.

LSU fans on this board have said this exact thing about EVERY recruit Alabama has gotten out of Louisiana.

Greg Robinson made for a hell of a guard at Auburn.

Most likely not going to be a guy who makes an early impact, but then again rarely does any of them on our Dline.
You & I both know that sh!ts about to change. Hand, Evans, Reed, Pettway, & perhaps Frazier by mid season.

Every single one.

We'll gladly take your scraps, LSU.

Just like "Bama didn't really want Fournette", he would be an "extra, a back up"....as said on the SECrant by Bama fans.
