We'll even count it as a UK article so that it doesn't count against the Vol recruiting board thread quota.

Every time I think the OP has peaked in suckage, he exceeds expectations. Impressive.

Recruiting a roster full of Big Ten rejects that Ohio State and Michigan didn't want?

Recruit commitments on June 16th mean nothing. It's what happens on signing day that matters. Lots can change between now and then.

I do like what Stoops is doing, can he hold it together and make it better. I hope so. Lots of excitement around here for what is happening today, but today is not signing day.

Now this, I can agree with.

FTR, that's how most of us feel at this point. The OP is also the same guy calling for 6-7 wins this season for UK. If that happens, the guy needs a whole new contract.

You don't think UK can win 6 games?

vs Western Kentucky- W
vs Miami (OH)- W
vs Louisville- L
vs Florida- L
at South Carolina- L
vs Alabama- L
at Mississippi State- L
vs Alabama State- W
vs Missouri- L
at Vanderbilt- L
at Georgia- L
vs Tennessee- L

With some luck, they'll win one against the following teams: Tennessee, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, and maybe even Louisville (I have little confidence in them). But right now, it's very likely that Kentucky will go 3-9 this year.

I think UK wins 3 of 4 OOC games, then picks off Missouri or Miss State for 4 wins. Honestly I would be happy with that with what Stoops inherited. I do sort of think they could win any of these: Missouri/Miss State/UT/Vandy. 5 wins would be incredible, 6 is possible, but maybe a 5% change.
What Stoops has done so far is nothing short of amazing, but I think it will take another year to see significant improvement.

This season? It'd be a hell of a coaching job for a first year HC implementing two new systems across the board without much talent.

I'm not saying they're not capable. I'm just saying it's highly unlikely.

Stoops would be considered the greatest coach of all time if he won 6 games first year in the SEC with UK's talent.
