Cyril Crutchfield has accepted the HC job for the HS that is the Alma mater of Frank Wilson and the Honey Badger.
With St. Augustine having Fournette for the class of 2014 this could get very interesting. I Still think that as long as Frank is on staff that we will be fine.

This is funny why?
Because there are idiots LSU fans who will freak out and think it means all the St Aug players will go to Alabama. And there are Bama idiots who are not content with just being a great program, they want to rub it in everyone's face and want to laugh at the idiots that freak out.
Does anyone really think a HC at St Aug is going to steer top recruits to Alabama because he step son goes there?

Yeah, highschool head coaches never have ulterior motives when they reccommend schools to students. And yeah, high school coaches don't have any sway on their players.
Not saying Bama gets every St. Aug kid, but this makes the Fournette situation much more interesting.

Crutchfield is also an a-hole that runs up the score on teams. His teams at South Plaquemine onside Kicked after every touchdown...Not that great of a Coach either...he benefited from Katrina's merging of three schools to form South Plaquemine. His teams did nothing before the merger. Just don't see him as an Aug guy. St Aug is the uppercrust of NOLA's Black Community and this guy's from Covington.

Only if they are petty morons intent on hurting their career.

Define sway? Are you saying a coach who will only coach this kid 2 years will have the biggest impact on this kid? Bigger than Turner and Austin? Mathieu? Frank Wilson and any other LSU people he knows?

Coaches do it all of the time. Why would this be any different?

Really, site some examples please?
ETA: By examples I mean a certain school in one state shipping players to a different state.
You guys are just proving my point, you are paranoid and insecure and I guarantee you the Bama tards are loving it

Well ATM they are recruiting him as a LB.

Has he stated a preference?
Like I said when you asked me, I guess they can take the "risk" of recruiting him there due to so many 2014 backs being interested. Or it could be another TJ Yeldon thing, initially recruiting him as a defender until they see how well he does offensively when he's older.
Would the meltdown be bigger if Bama lands him as a LB when LSU is recruiting at RB
