South Carolina's 247 site is legit. #1 source for most fans.
Ole Miss's is def terrible. Checked it out a few times before Nkem decommitted.
Clemson's is also awful. They've got a homer (Tim Matty or something) running it and he's nothing more than a fan, and not a very sharp one at that.
Nationally, 247 is #1.

I am a big rivals guy this year. I feel like they have really stepped it up this year in their player evaluations and team rankings.

I think personally 247 combined the best of rivals and scout and are putting themselves far, far above everybody else.

Is it really so bad that being OM people they use words like these ... probably no other person is closer to our program than Chuck c'mon man and as others have said yes "Yancy is Yancy" but I don't think I would choose any of the other retards reporting other him no matter how biased he is ... If we are talking about national recruiting services, anyone who follows it seriously pretty much looks at 247 and Rivals, but Rivals is nothing like it used to be.
Independent team coverage varies, but the ability of the site to properly evaluate recruits on a national level is what's important. 247 does the best job currently.
Scout and ESPN are a joke.

Uh, YES.
24/7 is killing the rest. Not only was it founded by the same guy that founded Rivals.com (before he sold it to Yahoo), 24/7 is getting all of Rivals good analysts.
Also, the 24/7 analysts will talk with members, discuss rankings, and are completely open to you talking about other site's rankings (because they know theirs are the best).
24/7 even posts the other sites' rankings and gives a "composite" ranking for all players and teams. Basically an industry average.

247 is just better run. Take the 2014 group of guys. Before rivals even starts ranking them and giving them stars, they're getting a top 250. Even though its just off sophomore film and what not, that's wayyy ahead of the rest of its competitors. They update MUCH more frequently as well.

SD and I grew up in HB together. Great guy and busts his arse at his job. Always has. I read a good bit of his stuff and its always very well done. I was just curious how some LSU folk like his content.
