Five-star guard Sharife Cooper just verbally committed to Auburn, a source told 247Sports.
Cooper made the choice on the first day of his official visit to Auburn's campus. The Tigers made Cooper a priority in the early stages of his college recruitment, and he's taken multiple visits to their campus.

Bruce is everything Auburn needed in a basketball coach....and I think he's affecting the University as a whole, making it a place kids gravitate to....

4. Terrence Clarke (Kentucky commit)
12. Isaiah Todd (Kentucky CB)
13. BJ Boston (Kentucky commit)
16. Jaden Springer (VOLS CB)
18. Sharife Cooper (Auburn commit)
22. Nimari Burnett (Alabama CB)
23. Keon Johnson (VOLS commit)
24. Cameron Thomas (LSU CB)

Almost 30% of the 5*s are committed or crystal balled to the SEC.

Plus several more top 50 guys like Kyree Walker, Lance Ware, Corey Walker, Cam'Ron Fletcher, Matthew Murrell, maybe Moses Moody and Brakefield (a little Auburn chatter there)

Impressive group coming in.
