But but but he’s 1000000% Bama regardless of the fact he’s basically been living in Auburn this past fall.

AU fans are really stupid to think Saban retiring did not cause this. I understand the desperation down on the plains but sort of feel sorry for the fan base.

That has been speculated for over a month. Today doesn't hurt that belief one bit.

You just lost the greatest coach in college football history but WE'RE desperate? Alabama won't fall off a mountain or rot away, BUT there are no Nick Saban's available for you to pick up. Even if you signed Kirby I'd take that any day over who just left. Get real man

Stupid, huh?

Your own fans on the Bama board said he was going to decommit anyway. This gave him the easy out.

Maybe you're the stupid one, huh?

I never saw that in the UA board. Maybe some of the ledge jumpers who panicked all the time said it but it was not a consensus by any means

Any rational UA fan knew Saban was not to going to stay around for long. I thought at best he had maybe two years left and have posted that before.

Why would I be desperate about him retiring? The only way I get upset is if they miss on his replacement. And yes again any rational UA fan realizes no one will ever replace Saban.

You mentioned Auburn fans being desperate I guess because Hugh is replacing coordinators, and we lost a meaningless bowl game that nobody will remember in a month? Lol Wouldn't you say replacing a Bear Bryant type figure creates more desperation as a whole even if YOU'RE an exception?

Williams has been an Auburn silent commit for months. You are just in denial.

I am sure there are many trying to wrap their head around it and probably feeling desperate for good news. In the end though no one can truly ask for anything more from Saban. Again just hope the next hire is a strong one as no one will ever replace Saban.

Denial about what? I have never argued he was coming or not to UA. I have no clue and never did. Until some thread popped up recently I did not even know he was originally a 2025 recruit.

There was a whole thread about yesterday.

We do see all this talk about Auburn, but he has not committed yet.

May be etiquette and respect or however these players are told to handle this... but he has yet to commit.

If he does flip, and we get Cam, Perry, and Ryan..

Would that be the best WR class in history? That 3 top 10 WRs?

We still won't pass for 200 yrds/gm
