Yeah, supposedly 'silent' committed to them (UCLA) over the weekend. It didn't sound all that credible though.

The "silent" rumor was debunked pretty quickly. He really liked UCLA but his family didn't visit with him and they're pressuring to stay closer to home; they want to be able to see him play. Gut says UGA but UCLA has made a big push.

That he's still going to UGA. The people who have cb'd UCLA have nothing to do with UGA or UCLA. When a UGA person cbs him to UCLA I'll worry. But right now I see no point in stressing over the fact that a Minnesota mod cb'd him to UCLA.

Mora is a really solid recruiter, so UCLA definitely worries me, and A&M has a big need at linebacker so Smith could probably play Freshman year and form a solid duo with Alaka. That being said, I think he'll end up being a Dawg. If either UCLA or A&M were closer I think he would end up at one of those schools, but family always matters.
