I don't know man. He had Kyle Phillips, Ugo Amadi and Justin Martin headed to LSU this year. Those were all 3 his guys. I think it more of a situation where he's not out there telling everyone how good he is.

Even before Chavis' departure, in all reality LSU was well behind Tenn for Martin and Phillip. that was cemented when Chavis left. Ugo was a Corey Raymond recruit.

You are actually wrong on all counts. Phillips, Amadi and Martin are all involved with a group called NPA that involves Buck Fitzgerald. Buck played at UT and is close with Chavis. That was the driver relationship. Chavis was the lead on all of those guys and he was going to land them. Until he left, they had all agreed to play together at LSU.

All reports say Smith had a good OV. He's taking his final OV to UCLA this weekend. UGA, UM, & A&M will all be in house. I think A&M has made up ground, but just got seriously into the game too late.

And I say seriously because A&M did have previous contact. I want to say he came to the Peach Bowl back in 2013, but we had no chance until we hired Chavis.

Realistically you're prolly lookin at UGA, Michigan(loves him some D.J. Durkin), UCLA & aTm in that order, with UGA with a small lead...
