Have you not noticed the fact that Les Miles plays freshmen early and often?
Eric Reid? Patrick Peterson? Tyrann Mathieu?
Kwon Alexander? Lamar Louis? Debo Jones?
Jermauria Rasco? Freak Johnson?
A player like RN will play early no matter where he goes, if he ends up being as good as they say. Elite talent finds the field no matter what, unless the coach happens to be a complete moron.
Early PT happens at LSU. I understand that Ole Miss had a little run of talent during Coach Yaw Yaw's tenure, but they are not the talent factory that is LSU.

If he wants to get to the NFL, it would be a big time mistake.

Meh, LSU doesn't get these guys this late in the process. Its going to be Ole Miss, and LSU won't be hurt by it either. At least he's coming to the SEC where DE's rule the land. This is the 2nd=#1 overall player as a DE to land in the SEC. In the last 3 years. I think Ronald Powell might have been #1 overall as well...not sure.

if RN does not go to Ole Miss, he will go somewhere outside the SEC. Maybe why he initially jumped on Clemson. Do not see him going to a place where he will have to play against his brother 3 straight years. His mother might never forgive him for that one.

Are you saying that he has a better chance getting to the NFL by going through Ole Miss than LSU? Are you fuggin crazy?
Why do you think it makes a difference?

So on the one hand you say that "he'll play early no matter where he goes" and that "elite talent finds the field no matter what" right before calling LSU a "talent factory."
So what is it? Are the players talented before they get to school, guaranteeing them success regardless, or is LSU a "talent factory" that somehow produces talented players?

I hope a young man like Nkemdiche doesn't feel pressured by his bro and mom. He should go where his heart guides him.
Nicest thing ever posted on the Rant... Too bad it is pretty clear his "heart" was at Clemson so I'm glad you want him to follow his heart even though that would lead him away from Baton Rouge.

You know how LSU does in rematches. I'm taking OM by 21.

The two aren't mutually exclusive. Nkemdiche will start wherever he goes, and LSU is still a talent factory, especially for DL. The difference is that at OM he'll spend the next 3 years getting double teamed, whereas at LSU he'll put up statistics and ball out playing next to Freak, Ego and Rasco. His potential will be fully utilized at LSU.

No offense to LSU but if teams double team RN then that means the rest of our DLine is going to rip fricking throats.

If we do get RN please double him. CJ and Ward will eat 1 on 1's for lunch. Then add possibly Lawson.

That's all well and good but he won't be playing next to the caliber of linemen that he would at LSU. Everything he could do at OM he would do better at LSU.

Our defensive line talent is comparable that's all I will say.
