Yeah rankings have been falsely slanted toward Alabama for years. Such BS

I guess Rivals didn't like that we had the GOAT class.

Or maybe y’all’s recruits aren’t as impressive as originally thought

Gunner went 14/31 for 160 yards vs 2AA Thomasville. He also doesn’t have great measurables.

It was a joke. Fans melting over their commits ranking dropping is the weirdest thing to me. It has no impact on the program or the commit them selves.

You left out the part that Gunners offensive line was severely outmatched against Thomasville and he was running for his life the entire game. It was a tough game to watch but that’s what happens when you have defenders in your lap the entire game.

Guy is one thick QB. 6’0-6’1 220. He’ll be better than Stetson Bennett though. I’ll give you that lol

247 Composite

247 ranking updates Wednesday. So this will change.

Pretty wild that Saban was better at evaluating early than the scouts at rivals.com

Will Anderson was outside the top 100 when we offered. He finished in the top 5. This paradox always perplexes me. Every winter Bama recruits are overhyped and get undeserved bumps, every fall Bama has the best players at every position and losing a game ever indicates horrible coaching and game planning. More first rounders by a mile than any other program since Saban’s arrival, but y’all still question a player he’s signed being rated high against his peers.

I can just see the scouts at rivals sitting around at the final meeting.

Scout 1: “This Campbell kid is outside the top 100 but Saban really wanted him and he did just dominate at our all star game, he looks like a top 30 player to me Bob but you had him at 115”

Bob: “wtf does Nick Saban know”

Shitty arse Jimbo and Kirby evaluate worse than the scouts at Rivals. Bunch of idiots.

Its almost like high school playoffs and All Star games wrapped up recently, giving scouts a better look at players against proper competition.

Campbell projects at Linebacker but played DL in high school.
