That's like 5 in the last 2 weeks. Ark just offered the other day too.

He should earn a spot on the two deep of the all-name team.
Congrats

usually guys his speed are pint-sized, Amirite?
He's been killing the camp circuit the last month or so. Averaged 30/rec last year.
Teammates with 2017 RB Toneil Carter.
This leaves two more spots for WR, which we are saving for: Trendavious Dickson, Tyrie Cleveland, Nkeal Harry. Duvernay wants his bro offered so he's likely off the board.

, but I am curious when the defense will be addressed. No flame Nyueng

There seems to be an LSU peep that posts something like this (usually more disrespectful) every time we get a offensive player.
2015 - 4 of our top 6 were defensive players (per 247), 5 guys that were 4 or 5 stars, 13 overall (11 O, 2 ST)
2016 - 4 of our top 5 are defensive players, 5 overall (8 O, 1 ST)
We have been recruiting defensive very heavily.

A genuine concern! If i'm not mistaken we've actually taken more defenders than offense in all four of Sumlin's classes. We've had a lot of attrition at WR of guys unable to break through the depth chart.
Our needs for the rest of the class are roughly: 2 RBs, 1-2 WR, 1 OL, 2 DL (probably both DTs, unless we can get an Agim type), 2 LB, 2 CB and 1 S.
Count me in the camp that would only want 1 rb this year, as its a pretty average class in Texas.
One of the big reasons for our defensive black hole has been sherman's last two classes were almost completely void of defensive talent. We've also forced a lot of guys into action that could have used a year in the weight program first.
I don't expect the D to be great this year, but we should take a pretty big step forward from a talent/exp perspective this year, even if we would have kept sny_er.

Good deal, just asking. I flame and troll the rant, but I try to stay clean here .
I do remember Jackson and the TN kid for defense, but memory fades. I do know A&M is the place to be for offensive skill players.

Well, you guys are certainly in dire need of some DBs.

Yeah I'd much rather take one more CB than planned than 2 RB this year....

Just how I would expect an LSU fan to spell it.

Yeah. I felt guilty shooting out friendly fire. My bad.

We will have to see how things play out, but I think our starters will be fine. We will just be lacking depth.

We have obviously struggled on the defensive side of the ball; combo of talent and coaching deficiencies. But, with the addition of Chavis, and the enhancement of talent, I like the trajectory. Hopefully, there will be noticeable improvement this year.

Just wanted to draw attention to this. 35 catches for 901 last year as a junior is a pretty eye popping number. He's definitely been blowing up the camp circuit like you said, and ran a 10.6 100M in track this year. Should definitely see his stock soar in his SR year.

Wouldn't this be a huge concern with up-tempo style of offense you run? More time on the field + poor depth?
