Good move for all parties in the end. Seems like his dad had a lot of influence. Luckily I'm a fan of both schools so I ain't even mad

Will play Sammie's spot. Nice to get a WR his size (6'2-6'3) who is pretty polished. Very good kid as well. Craig worked his arse off on this one

Nice flip, can't imagine many wanting to play for that offense right now at Texas.

Hell, Jordan Stevenson jumped ship to Wisconsin when they didn't even have a HC

Texas hasn't considered him a commit in a long time.

Yeah, he's a good kid and I'm glad he didn't drag this out to NSD. Wish him luck at Auburn.

You're a commit until you decommit.

Burt communicated with the Texas staff the team's open receivers coach position and the quarterback play by Tyrone Swoopes are his biggest issues with the Longhorns.

Easy decision - Craig coaching him and JJ throwing to him. We needed this.

For it to be a flip, wouldn't he have to decommit and commit somewhere else at the same time?

Not all teenagers announce that they are not a commit to a school when the school already written them off and already recruited another kid and got a commit from another to replace said so called commit that the school already considered not a commit.

Not hard to understand this stuff.

He was committed to Texas. Texas was still hopeful he would come there until yesterday when he told the coaches his decision. (This per 247) Just because you're shopping around doesn't mean you're not a commit. If he wasn't committed, why did he feel the need to decommit? It's a simple concept really.

But I'm not going to sit here and argue with you anymore about whether he was a commit or not because it's stupid.
