This is a great little movie. Gives a "inside baseball" look at what a recruit goes through. Brandon is a very impressive young man off the field and it really shows. Even though it was done by Aggies & TexAgs there is no bias. I would highly recommend it.

It's behind a paywall, and I have a feeling he ends up being this year's Malik.

Are they gonna do a sequel for his Freshman year in Austin?

No, but if you could watch it, you would see its not about where he is going, but more about the pressures of being a top flight recruit and how he deals with it without his father (passed when he was in 7th grade).

Its a good film. Pretty enlightening about how much some coaches over do it with contacting these kids. He has to delete his voicemail box twice a week because it fills up so quickly. He averages 10 calls a day. It says during the interview alone he got 3 calls from coaches.

It was surprisingly not biased towards A&M very much considering who produced it (an A&M fansite). In fact one scene in the film is a convo between his mom and his brothers with his brothers pumping texas because they have a better depth chart for immediate playing time. They said there is no way Brandon would take Armani Watts' spot so he wouldn't be able to start year one. I hope he doesn't see it that way!

all jokes aside, it sounds pretty cool. Hopefully it'll be open to the public after NSD?

I would assume so. They entered it in SXSW.

I remember when they came to our school and were filming that. I'm probably in a couple shots. Brandon is an excellent player and great guy. He's really friendly and a very hard worker. Wherever he goes I hope he is successful. He's overcome a large amount of adversity and wish him the best. I hope one day I can say that I played with an NFL starter because he's got what it takes.
