of course every school has transfers. However, those two guys were 4 star recruits. You typically don't see too many 4 star recruits just transferring all willy nilly and after only one season or two. Typically when that happens it's because some recruiter had sold them a dream and they found out otherwise.

Can't speak for what happened with the UT kid, but I think you might be reaching a bit on Langley. Yes, he flipped from Carolina during the recruitment process and that may be clouding your judgement somewhat. I think saying that Langley was sold a dream is a bit far fetched. He and Quincy Mauger were recruited together by Todd Grantham; and Quincy has adapted just fine to Pruitt's defense in the transition and will be a solid starter for the next few years. Brendan did not adapt as well and was moved to offense where his minutes diminished due to lack of playbook knowledge and just having too many athletes ahead of him. With the WR's currently committed, the writing was on the wall for him and he knew it. Can't see anything in that situation that screams he was sold a "bill of goods" that didn't come true. I hope he does transfer to USC and has a good career, because he deserves it. He is a great kid. Just think he thought he would like to play in Grantham's defense and never really liked Pruitt's.

Langley started as a freshman and proceeded to get torched. If he was promised a chance at playing time he got it. If he would have played well he would have never been benched but he couldn't keep up with outside receivers. So we moved him around to try and use him but he hasn't been able to regain a position. Quite frankly, he just wasn't good enough.

Yeah, let that be a lesson to anyone who flips from Carolina. GTFO.

Derrell Scott is transferring because he's already being recruited over. He's not going to take carries away from Hurd or Kamara and he knows it.
Previous classes have nothing to do with it.

Well gee anybody could have seen he wasn't going to jump the other two backs at TN every cock fan from here to west hell knew that lol. Like I said somebody sold him a dream lol. As far as other classes i said recruits need to pay attention to what happened in previous classes. That was in respect to this current group of prospects fleeing Carolina because a few schools are negative recruiting us using the spurrier line.

Yes that is a lesson.

I still don't get why you lumped BL in there.

Because he is still pissy about losing him, though Brendan is actually a decent example for what he said. Curious though that he thinks that Bl is leaving UGA because he isn't good enough to play. That isn't true, Langley is one of the most talented CBs we had on the roster, but if it were, why would you want him, CC?
Langley is transferring for PT, very simply. He is a very good/talented player, but isn't going to get PT here and decided to go somewhere he may. I'm sure we won't put any restrictions on him for transfer, but I wish we would. Doubt he is going to end up still in the SEC regardless. He would be best served to go dominate at some FCS school.

He got playing time as a true freshman. No kids are gonna see that as a negative. If the player is not as good as the other players on the roster then that's not the coaches fault.
