Not really. Most Bama fans were like "huh?" when we accepted his commitment, but then again we felt the same way about another "white LB" named Vinnie Sunseri and he worked out ok.

We've beaten you 8 in a row, have outrecruited you by far during that stretch, have the superior program all-time, present time, and for the foreseeable future, so we're good. No one at Bama is worried about a single spot in a recruiting class at this point.

All i'm picking up from that post is you were dead wrong about UT wanting Anderson, you tried to rub it in our face, and you got burned, because you are a bitch

So UT never offered him? They didn't host him on 1/2 dozen visits?

Jayson Swain, Brad Shepherd, and Ryan Callahan (all UT writers with some connections to the program, one would assume) never projected him to sign with UT based on what they were hearing?

Not that hard to do for a Bama fan against a UT fan. We've got perpetual bragging rights on you.

No, and no. You didn't "burn" me on some message board, pal. It's just banter back and forth between fans of rival schools. I promise I'll sleep just fine tonight regardless of whether or not you believe Tenn wanted Anderson or Bama is going to get Warrior.

I thought Vinnie sucked at football?

He's a legacy, you have to at least show them a good time. I don't think his offer was committable. You said we wanted him, I showed you evidence that we were meh at best when he committed to Bama. Suck a dick

You showed evidence that your FANS were "meh" when he committed to Bama (which, by the way, so were Bama fans). You showed no evidence that your STAFF didn't want him.

Again, most bama fans were like "huh?", but at this point we assume anyone who commits must be better than we give them credit for or else Saban and crew wouldn't accept the commitment (or would process before signing day).

Bama fans have a lot of room to talk to Tennessee fans. But gloating about signing Keaton Anderson?

Anderson is a solid player. Saban always has a underrated player in a class that makes a big impact in his career.

Actually this got started when I responded to a UT poster that said:

quote:

I'll believe this when a legacy chooses a school besides UT. So far, not a single one has.

So no one was gloating just pointing out that a UT fan made an incorrect statement.

We didn't sign JJ McCleskey's son last year (went to Oklahoma State). I would say it's similar situation to that.

Neither guy was a very big priority for the staff, certainly nothing like Warrior is or McKenzie, Bates, Kelly Jr, etc. were.

I should've put an asterisk beside my statement.

UT doing a good job of reeling him in.

If he goes anywhere but UT I'd be shocked.

The UGA mods are predicting him to BAMA. That would be an interesting turn of events.

That being said, after watching him play I think he's a tad overrated. His cousin is a beast thought.

Nigel Warrior is planning on going to Baton Rouge on an unofficial visit for the LSU - UF game. He's bringing his cousin Deangelo Gibbs with him.
