USC has made a big move. Chubb is visiting again but not w/ parents. They've signed off on him choosing whichever school he wants. It's neck and neck.

Yeah, I'm not liking that part right there. We didn't have a great chance to start with, but I could see his mom/dad saying, "ok if you want to go to USC for a visit, even though you already know you want to go to UGA, that's fine, but I'm not taking off of work."

I'm starting to feel better about Chubb but it sounds like he has a lot of Georgia presence around him. Going to be hard to take him from them but he sounds like he is atleast open to it. Gotta roll out the red carpet Thursday

I read Spurrier wasn't there and was expecting an award in Florida. Also, he had a good amount of time to talk with Coach Sands. I guess we'll find out pretty soon, but I didn't read anything about his visit that was overwhelming in our favor.

I'm hearing he is actually considering delaying his decision a bit longer and may take another visit when Spurrier is in - or else give Spurrier a chance to come visit him.
I dunno. I just don't see it happening. I'd much rather see us load-up on DTackles and DEnds with this class, and a couple more LBs, Corners, OLinemen, etc.
We're not going to have enough schollies damnit and we've got enough RBs to last another year.

Word on our end is that he will be committing to UGA shortly, may even be heading to Athens the next couple of days to do it in person. Just FWIW (which, in May/June isn't much)
