As expected Justin Fields jumps over Trevor Lawrence as the new #1 ranked player in the country.

LINK

Fields is scheduled to be in Auburn this weekend, Alabama next weekend and Georgia soon after that.

His recruitment is going to be a fun ride.

Right here is why it will be wild. We are getting AU or FSU, but UGA maybe taking FSU's place. This story is bananas

Zamir White as a 4-star is a joke. The most respected recruiting analyst are saying he's on the level of Fournette and a better prospect than Cam Akers. ESPN has two guys making up rankings, they have no credibility

Also, Salyer not being the top OL (OG and OT) is a joke based on all game and camp film

I thought Lawrence was the best QB prospect of all time.

Talanoa Hufanga is a 5-star on 247.

He is ranked #291 overall by ESPN.

Only Clemson fans actually believe this.

Even after Fields drug his nuts over Lawrence's face at the Opening they have mods still claiming Lawrence is superior:

Clemson Recruiting Updates (Offense): On Why Trevor Lawrence is Still the Best in 2018

quote:

Trevor Lawrence (6’6, 200, Cartersville, GA): I am sure that some recruiting service is going to put Justin Fields ahead of Trevor Lawrence. It is good for clicks and hits to have some controversy over the number one overall spot and commentators who were present at the event were rightfully wowed by Fields performance. But Clemson fans shouldn’t be worried at all and there is still no doubt that Lawrence is the number one overall player in the country.

Look, 7-on-7 is an effective measure for evaluating the talent of DB’s, WR’S, and QB’s but it is also a learned skill. Guys who play a lot of 7-on-7 generally perform better than their peers. Fields plays a good bit of 7’s. I don’t want to take anything away from Fields, he was excellent, but these games are played in shorts. If Fields deserves to be the number two QB in the country and if he continues to improve and puts up crazy numbers in Georgia, then we can have a debate (Fields is also just 6’3 and it is a different animal in shorts and with no Oline).

Lawrence didn’t perform poorly either. Based on many accounts he looked like the number one player before the 7’s portion of the festivities and he only really struggled against Fields team in the 7’s. Most of the QB’s at the event were just checking everything down and TL made some riskier throws into coverage because of the rules of 7’s. I stand by my belief that TL has the ability to be the best QB to ever play at Clemson. (Update: 24/7 just did it)

Yeah I guess Swinney should take away his scholarship offer. No reason Bama coaches have visited him twice since hes been committed

TD Moultry was a 5* LB on Rivals, and close on 247, and was like 280 on ESPN last year.

Damn, dude, I've never seen anyone take a loss so hard.

It's been SEVEN months.

I bet you were a ray of sunshine for the entirety of 2016, huh?

But when did posting something hilarious in response to a question mean someone was mad?

He asked. I answered.

Seems to me the ones butthurt in this thread are the Clemson fans.

You responded by talking about a 17 yr old kid dragging nuts at a preseason camp. Time to reevaluate some things about yourself

Well let's be honest here. That's what he did.

Analysts from every recruiting site have said it was the best QB performance they've ever seen in the history of the Elite 11 which goes all the way back to before Drew Brees was playing in high school.

Oh you mean pathetic stuff like posting on another conference's recruiting board and getting arse hurt over 18 year old kids?

Maybe you should take your own advice there Chief.
