You guys were a QB away from being very good. He recruited exceptionally his time there. Just never could get it together on offense.

What actually turned your program into a steaming pile (right now, at this moment) was the coaching change itself. If he was still at UF, you would have a top 10 class. But you fired your coach a couple months before NSD, then basically fired the entire defensive staff (save for one coach going home to where he played.)

What did you expect?

What? Seriously, Muschamp was a mediocre at best recruiter at UF who honestly wasn't smart enough to build a full roster-

Exceptional recruiters don't leave teams with 8 signed players in the upcoming class much less with the roster issue Florida currently has to deal with.

Gene Chizik was a superior head coach to Will Muschamp by basically every criteria and yet Auburn fans are on here pretending Boom got some raw deal instead of coaching like a dumber John L Smith.

Look at Florida's current offensive line situation (7 scholarship lineman only 3 of whom have played even a single snap) and tell me he was an exceptional recruiter.

To pretend it was Muschamp's well deserved if amazingly overdue firing that hurt Florida and not his stubborn inability to recognize his own shortcomings is delusional.
