Unless there's a caveat to intentional grounding in high school rules I don't know about, that was possibly the worst call I've ever seen in my life:
1. Intentional grounding is never called on spikes regardless on if there is an eligible receiver nearby
2. Even if there is a caveat saying QB has to be under center, the ball actually hit the ground 2 feet away from a RB (i.e. eligible receiver)
Also the clock stopped with 3 seconds left after the TD, then they just ran it down to 0

You can not spike the ball out of a shotgun. You have to be under center to do that. It's okay, the announcers didn't know the rules either

I didn't know that but the ball landed literally 2 feet from an eligible receiver so I still don't see how it's IG
