Really? You don't think if Newman could convince another highly rated kid to go to MSU your coaches wouldn't make room? Come on bruh.

LMAO, no way

If your coaches told him that they are downright stupid. No way he would even consider going there with the laughable talent you have and telling him you wont take anyone else but him. You guys would have zero shot at making the tournament next year.

We have talent coming in. And our current team was talented enough to beat your Tigers, right? It doesn't take but a player or two to get things turned around.

Yeah, if you want to get to the NIT. You need 3-4 potential NBA guys if you want to make any real noise. You have none, while we have 5 even without Malik.

Congrats on possibly sneaking into the tourney. We have 3 or 4 already talented players. Craig Sword, Gavin Ware.., DeMarrious Houston & IJ Ready are talented and getting better and better. We'll see who Malik chooses soon enough.

Possibly sneaking in lol. None of those guys would start at LSU. Not a single one.

Lol interesting. Then why did those guys beat your guys?

Ready would start over josh gray. Sword would start over the white kid.

Josh doesn't even start lol. You think he'd start over Jalyn Patterson or Tim Quarterman? I'm not even gonna respond to the second part. You think Sword would've hit that shot today? GTFO.

Don't see why not. Sword has hit 6 or 7 3's in a game already once or twice this year. He's scored 29, 27, 26, 20 plus a couple other times this year & he missed almost half of the season.

Patterson started his 8th consecutive game. Went for 20.

That was the third game tying or winning shot this year. Besides, Sword averages absolutely piss poor numbers on a bad team with very few options. Keith averages nearly 4 points more on a team with two of the SEC's best scorers on the floor with him. I'm sorry man, but Sword would be our 4th guard. Maybe 5th considering how Gray played today. IJ Ready wouldn't even touch the floor lol.

I'm glad you're so fond of your players but I haven't seen anything from you backcourt guys that Sword couldn't do. You go average up the last 10 SEC games and see who has better numbers between Sword and any of your guards. You're an average SEC team that finally got a decent win today, that might, just might get you in to the Dance. You still might need to win an SEC Tourney game.

Sword averages 15 a game in SEC play and shoots it 49% from the field and 40% from 3. That's not shitty numbers fella.

You cant tell that the teams who actually recruit well, sorry. A low 4-star and couple scrubs is not "talent". Hell you even lose 2 seniors off this team who contribute and this team finished 13 and freaking 18.

No, we played absolutely shitty enough for you to win, just like in the Mizzou and Auburn games. We vastly out talented all 3 teams but played like shite and lost, it happens sometimes.

Please see final records on who is way better than the other team, hell we could end up losing less players than you do after this year and are bringing in immensely more talent. You dont think Newman wants to play for pretty much a guaranteed tournament next year rather than go maybe 16-15 under the worst coach in the conference?

You see, we have more than 1 guard worth a shite, so this would be pointless. Sword is a good player though, but absolutely nothing special, I certainly wouldnt trade Quarterman, Horsnby or Patterson for him. The big thing with you guys is you dont have a PG, at all.

Or post players, or wings, or a bench, or a coach. So they've basically got one above average player. I'm sure Malik is just dying to play there.

49% from the field is not anything to brag about. Not bad, but not great either. And bragging about averaging 15 a game is hysterical.

LSU has a number of guards who all contribute, which is why no 1 guard has outstanding numbers.

Well if that's the case, then teams know that Sword is it (by himself) and he still gets it. Which makes it even tougher with teams concentrating on him. Could you imagine how many he would score a night if he had Martin and Mitchell to open the floor up for him? Or an actual "legit pg" that could score and distribute the ball to?

Saying 49% is nothing special for a guard. Ok, well none of your guards are over 42% from the field and none shoot 40% from 3.

Nice excuse on losing to us. If your talent was so outstanding and ours is so bad, you should have just needed to show up, and you win. Not the case eh?

Slightly below yours since we have to play an extra game. I could see us losing first game but wouldn't be shocked by beating Aub and Tam.
