And the shite I'm hearing and the timeline seems to me like this had NOTHING to do with anything LSU's staff did actually
Bama staff felt like something was off on his OV per Bone
And apparently this was so out of the blue that LSU didn't expect and was contacted by Hootie, they had lost hope and given up...started zeroing in on Adams
Some crazy shite happens in Dec every year

I was talking more about the weirdness of his commitment at the ceremony to Bama (seemed like appeasing some people to me) and how he didn't really wanna be at Bama and if S&S said they had an idea BEFORE his OV
Then Bama staff felt something was off
Seems to me like it was Hootie just had 2nd thoughts and decided he didn't think Bama would make him happy
He planned on it before the OV so that tells me all I need to know

Tbh...Jamal is a better back-end coverage S and Hootie is a roaming do-it-all S (leaning more toward FS in Chief's D)
Jamal reminds me a lot of Reid for LSU, Hootie reminds me of less athletic Barron, I say that because he can roam and hit like a LB and cover but needs a bit of work on trusting instincts and not just using athleticism
