Smaller instate class this year, will sign maybe 6 or 7 from Arkansas. Biggest in state targets are 4* DT Austin Capps, 4* DE Tevin Agim, 4* LB Deontre Hartwick and 4* TE John Tate. Already one commit from a speedy WR that Saban recently visited, Jordan Jones from Smackover.

3 or 4 from Texas, one here and there from Missouri, Oklahoma, Georgia etc.

I'll add that Kentucky looks to have a good crop, and with Ohio being loaded, UK should do pretty well there in 2016.
It should be the best class we've ever signed (not saying much), so look for the Cats in the 20-25 range on NSD. Maybe as high as 17.

I'll also toss out that we're in very good shape for 5* DT Derrick Brown to go alongside Eason and Cleveland. Three 5*s at minimum during a year in which the state of Georgia is just stupid deep is going to make for a pretty sweet haul.

I'm not saying he'll stay committed through NSD, but I do think the flip is coming. The crystal ball stuff started shifting just now, but there's been rumblings for about 3-4 days.

Actually, I just read that too. You might be right about Kendall flipping. Seems like Butch just recently started turning up the heat on 4* QB Tylin Oden from the mid-state area and I really doubt we take more than 1 QB this class.
I don't want to lose Kendall though. He's gonna be a good one.

Kendall would be a Dawg if not for Eason. If anything were to happen with his recruitment I imagine Kendall would go to the top of our board.

We don't lead for deontay and Monroe anymore I believe. Still VERY much in it though. I wouldn't say we lead for Haskins but there's a good chance he ends up here if Shea Patterson leaves. Between him and Cole Kelly, who is another big time QB. I don't think we lead for Mykel either.

Who are you hearing leads for Deontay? Honest question as I haven't read much about him so far aside from the fact LSU and A&M are high on his list.
I have no idea what the timeline is on any of those three DBs that we are looking at but I'm guessing all will probably be fought for until the end

I think both are in good position but LSU isn't as much in the driver seat as it once was. Monroe seemed lsu bound before Chavis left.
