There are plenty of academic underachievers in college who are not athletes.

When I was a TA, I was shocked at the poor writing skills of so many students.

I am also curious about this. I believe we have 2 or 3 that went this route this NSD(Hibbler, for sure). Is it basically the JUCO putting their claim in for said player in the event he doesn't qualify?

He has zero chance of qualifying and will be in juco. Our staff thought he might have a chance but finally decided he has no shot.

Freeze didn't really want to put the kid on blast and make it public that we were no longer interested in him. I doubt he will ever play big time college ball

Too obvious

Some of these guys double sign just to help their high school friends out. I will sign, if you sign/check out my friend...

Considering this guys crazy recruitment, it would be absolutely hilarious if he didn't qualify.

This can't be my fellow LSU fans hoping that the kid has to go juco...I want him to be eligible. I want him to regret his decision when State doesn't repeat their success from this past year.

So you hope a 17 or 18 year old fails? Damn dude. You need to take a long look in the mirror and see what your priorities are.

Really, Dude? You really in all honesty believe this? If so you Reb fans are more pathetic than I originally thought.

I like how you quote one guy and then use fans plural.

Oh, I've heard that same comment from many other Reb fans the past two days.

Go to John Curtis in New Orleans. The school has a history for students getting qualified.

A lot of Mississippi kids double sign with JUCO's. They usually stick with the D1 route. However, nothing is set in stone.

They will both be on the roster for 2015. Other schools wouldn't have been so hot on their trail if they thought they would be grade casualties.
