How many of your posts have the words "Bama lock"? Is there some sort of quota you have to meet?

Not all the time

Also admitted he took too much time recruiting and other HC duties and had to divert time away from building a game plan and directly teaching and coaching QBs, the 2 things he is best at.

I try to make this a point because the last 2 years he truly was an OC only and dedicated full time to that he was phenomenal

Now I know it has been a long time since he did that and has a lot of failure as a Head Coach bit I think he still will do a good job because he has to. Could he crash and burn? Sure, but Bama has little attachment to him if he does, they just cut ties

We will see in the end how much of a difference he makes and the reason he was hired was because of his eval he did of Bama's offense impressed Saban enough that he gave him a shot

Look at Ellis Johnson's record at Southern Miss. They lost all of their games. They got beat by Marshall 59-24. Let me repeat that: Marshall. Was that his defense that allowed 59 points to Marshall? Six times his defense allowed 40+ points. Before you discredit it because it was Southern Miss, the team went 12-2 the year before.
Ellis Johnson is a terrible head coach, but he is a good defensive coordinator. Lane Kiffin is a terrible head coach. Will he be a good offensive coordinator? Only time will tell.

Is Lane bringing the wild boys routine with him? Im sure that would be right up Cochran's alley.

If what I'm hearing is right, Alabama is about to try to start poaching from other SEC recruiting classes. Will be an interesting few weeks

Per sources, [Roc] Thomas knew Kiffin was coming to the school on Thursday morning, so he purposely overslept to avoid making contact with the Alabama coach. When Kiffin arrived, he was told in no uncertain terms by Oxford coach Ryan Herring, "you're wasting your time, Roc's solid to Auburn."

No he wasnt. Big drop off in USC's offense from 2005 to 2006.

Matter of fact 2006 was the worst offense USC had during the Pete Carroll reign.
