Dude we are well aware that Arkansas sports media is the shittiest in the business.
Not sure about that anymore. Sports media is shitty everywhere nowadays.
Besides, we're only talking about this because someone here can't read.

Bet it's a hard decision trying to pick between the team that scored 17 points during a rebuilding year with less talent and a team that was loaded with star talent but scored 0 points.
Seems like one school utilizes and motivates it's talent better than the other.
how gay lmao
"hehe"
im sure the kid is going to base anything off of a freagging game
I used to coach and teach at Rummel. Considering how many l they have pulled it is possible. I've always liked the fact that they went there. Arkansas has always been my second favorite school in the conference.
But gosh...... why all the hate on LSU. It's starting to wear on me

Lol @ arky taking any elite la recruit away from LSU

LA recruits of course.Honestly there is a wealth of talent in the state and LSU can't sign them all.Considering depth at certain positions you can't blame these kids for exploring their options.

Desperate is a strong word...Do I want kids that can play ball? Yeah...sure and there are a lot more D1 players in LA

You are probably correct. But Coach Smith is doing his best . Worth a shot. If you don't swing your not getting a hit.

From inside Louisana, probably yes. You all SHOULD keep your program in good enough shape that all the Louisiana boys want to go there. Nationwide, the odds lessen a little though.
Also, even every once in a great while - a player just wants to get away from 'home'. And sometimes a player NEEDS to get away from 'home'.
We'll see what happens.
Arkansas is building relations and connections in Louisiana, we have several players from Louisiana on our roster, with more on the way.

Mudbone, I'm not 'wishing' anything.
I don't get caught up and live and die over what a 17 or 18 year old kid thinks or decides.
There are lots of great choices out there for the upper level athletes to choose from.
Some of those athletes are seeing whats happening at Arkansas, taking a look and finding out that it's really an excellent place to be.
From coaching staff, to facilities, to fan support, to academic support, to strength and conditioning, to preparing them for a potential NFL career, to playing in the toughest division in the toughest conference in the country - Arkansas is an excellent choice.
Some great players are choosing Arkansas and some are not.
One thing about Arkansas is that it seems to be a great place for these kids to grow in a positive atmosphere while being taught responsibility, both personal and to the team. You don't see players at Arkansas in trouble (although one will occasionally slip up) like you do at a lot of other schools.
Arkansas is on the rise, no doubt. Some will want to catch the wave, some won't. It's going to be a great ride for those that do. One recruit not wanting to ride will not slow the roll.
One thing I will say about being recruited by Arkansas is that Coach Bielema checks players out very carefully before offering. He will not recruit a player unless he passes a character test that is more important than the ability test. Bielema wants 'uncommon' men, and not uncommon just from the talent standpoint.
You may dismiss it, and that's fine - but it really is kind of an honor to be offered by Arkansas, it says as much about the recruit as a person as it does being an elite athlete.

Or just maybe Fulton most to go to a place where competition pushes him every day to be great. LSU there's no difference between the starter and the backups in The secondary at Arkansas it's starter then preferred walk on
Posted on 8/22/15 at 2:34 pm to broadcaster
This sounds like a flame...is it? I don't remember Henre Tolliver and Santos Ramirez being walkons.
Anyway....Many believe Fulton is your next commit. What say you?

at you trying to recruit for Arkansas on the SEC rant when his dad is saying that he doesn't have any interest in ya'll's 2-14 joke of a program. Because there are a bunch of big time stud DB's coming out of Arkansas making waves in the draft lately and all.
quote:I'm sure it was hard to trust that Mathieu, Claiborne, Peterson, Reid, White, Taylor, Adams, Tolliver, Collins, Mills, etc etc weren't interested in Arkansas in favor of LSU too huh?
this is difficult to trust
quote:Because starting immediately for a team with a much shittier track record of putting guys in the NFL isn't a good life decision compared to starting his sophomore/junior year and turning out like these guys?
Why wouldn't "Dad" want his son to potentially start for Arkansas next season
Posted on 8/22/15 at 5:20 pm to southeasttiger113
So it is his Dad...that usually doesn't work out all that well on message boards. Just sayin
But honestly you are right on DBs drafted since 2008 with Petrino/Smith. CBB has brought in plenty of talent. I doubt you've even looked

Didn't your basketball roster just take a huge blow this summer with nearly your whole roster getting arrested?

You are right...CBB should coach round ball too
Posted on 8/22/15 at 5:45 pm to sugatowng
Well he has the round part down that's for sure.
