I am curious if the coaches would even take Kozan at this point. I know he would be a good get but he would also be overkill.

Apparently Kozan had a problem with something and couldn't commit on NSD. He's not even making an announcement, he's just sending his LOI in at some point in the near future. I'd hardly call that needing attention.

Plus Iowa OC just took a job for the Dolphins, which is a situation that has been developing over the past week. I'm sure that played a factor

Kozan the Barbarian. If he picks AU the michigan fans will flip their shite. They are already saying that we paid Diamond, that he is vastly overrated, that he has an attitude problem. Damn butthurt yankees.

They would. They really like him. He would most likely end up redshirting and it would be the same as signing a guy next year.

This is kind of a no lose deal for AU. If he comes here-great- if not, our OL cupboard is certainly not bare. It also saves a spot for a position of bigger need.

I have heard he does have attitude problems, but that could be butthurt. Not the first time i've heard it about Diamond though

I don't THINK that's right. You can sign 25, but they all count. As in, you sign 25 and only 20 make it to campus, too bad, you can't back count the 5. But if you only sign 20, you CAN back count the 5 next signing day. Gonna see a lot of borderline academic guys coming in as "greyshirts", so to speak, because coaches won't want to take a chance in them not qualifying and losing that scholarship altogether.

Rule is 25 loi's. Dec 1st to nov 30. Doesn't matter if they qualify or what.
