This. Little to no excitement until now. A shite ton of money just sitting in wallets.

Mizzou source: "He’s like Luther Burden but at running back special"

Friend of who covers the NFL and NFL Draft: "I hate highlight tapes but this Lacy kid looks like Alvin ****in Kamara"!

Mizzou has what I describe as a "Direct NIL" plan. Meaning we don't stack money to brag about our NIL (I don't mean that in a bad or snobby way) what happens is we as donors can direct how our donations are used. I'm assuming someone found out what Lacey would want, then phone calls were made and donors said direct my money to Lacey. I'm a wrestling fan, so I've directed money toward wrestling. I'm hoping we can induce 2 top rated kids to get us a natty.

MIZZOU seems to be making some noise this offseason. Solid Tackle, EDGE and RB in 3 days

The RB is the only one that has committed, however. Mizzou fan or not, I never count the chickens until they hatch.

Thanks for the insight. I really wanted Lacy but I’m OK with this because Ole Miss is making a run next year so you could argue the money would be better spent on instant impact transfers. However, I think Lacy is a day one player similar to Judkins.

I think the Rebs and Mizzou both see next year as a big opportunity because of the pieces each team has coming back in '24.

NIL. We can do it above board.
We have an average amount of people for a state, on an average amount of land, with above average corporate HQ and decent farming revenue.
And it all has 1 major fb program in the state to support. Most states have 2 or more, especially the ones with larger population or land than Missouri.
Mizzou was always going to benefit from NIL more than the average school.

If Mizzou can flip 2 recruits capable of winning an NC in their class from the top 3 programs, we go from 4-10th ranking to tossup for team champs. I'm confident our coaching staff can coach anyone up, and won't mess up any can't miss prospects.

This is the answer. Why waste your money when Babs was hellbent on destroying the program ? Alden watching the B12 screw his program out of an Orange Bowl appearance, 2015. You know the saying about the fool and his money.

Maybe some of the Busches, Taylors, Bass Pro Shops or Energizer are involved.
