When was the last time AU signed a five star RB? Steven Davis? Tate was a 4 star and I am not sure about carnell.

We do tend to get the most of our backs and or scout really well there.

Irony is our last 5 star back was Brandon Jacobs I believe and we sure didn't get the most out of him. Although his situation was one of room.

ETA: forgot Dyer but same point applies

Yeah, I thought about Jacobs but didn't mention him as a juco transfer and then the fact he transferred out after a year of sitting behind Davis.

The best back out of this class will be Jeff Jones

I think when it is all said and done it could be Dalvin Cook.

Roc is the real deal. Always said we should have left LF alone and signed him instead.

Nick Chubb is my pick.

He looks just as good as Leornard Fournette!

There was a write up from Rivals I think explaining why Fournette was a 5 star and Thomas a 4 and it made sense. They basically said that Fournette is farther along with pass blocking, vision and allowing the blocking to develop in front of him but raw talent-wise, they are close.

Hands down the most absurd thing I've read in a while.

Sony Michel is my favorite back in this class.

K, but we can look at how they've done against the best players in the country of equal age:

Roc Thomas- 7 carries 3 yards, 0 catches

Leonard- 9 carries 45 yards, 2 catches 46 yards 1 TD

You take Roc, I'll keep Leonard

Well that's just silly. That's 1 game where neither had great games LF had a good one, and Roc had a bad one (stat wise for both). Not saying Roc is better, but to act like that is end all be all proof is laughable.

Don't sleep on Both Scarborough. He's a 5-star for a reason.

Mine as well and I love Nick Chubb. Sony Michel is just nasty to me. He is just versatile and makes good decisions.

Sony Michel

I also like Royce Freeman and Dalvin Cook. LF and ROC will both be really good. Lots of good backs this year.

I don't see how it's silly at all. Like you said neither had great games, but the thing is Leonard's not great game produced 91 yards and a TD to Rocs 3 yards.

Don't get me wrong Roc looks like a stud in his film, but I just don't see how anyone can say he looks better than Leonard.

I would love to watch him this year, but I am not sure JUCO games are televised??

Who said that in this thread. And I agree with whoever said they wished we would have pushed for Roc instead of LF, because we had a much better chance of landing Roc.

I said from the get go we should have, but LF was a personal thing for Burton Burns apparently.
