Not with his size and strength in a 3-4 defense, but Alabama seems to be the only program he's interested in that runs that scheme.

No, early the thought was he was going elsewhere and the Hogs had no shot. He didn't grow up a Hog fan like most NWA residents. It wasn't until Bielema got hired and he started visiting the Hill regularly that we started to be a player for him.

Personally, I've felt all along that he will go elsewhere. He has seemed all along like a kid that wants to move away from home. We've got Bijhon Jackson who is better and a solid Hog lock so that eases some of the pain. However, a state like Arkansas doesn't normally produce two top 10 DT's so we really need to land both if we can't flip Craig Evans.

He'll visit Fayetteville more times in the next 7 months than he will any of his other top 5 schools so the staff needs to just keep chipping away.

Brother Cheshire. I will not go do research, but I know what I saw from a couple of you concerning Frazier. However, I really don't care enough to prove it...

If you all say he is a red flag prospect and not a big loss than I believe you. >cough<>cough<

Oh no, don't get me wrong, it would be a big loss. Like I said, its not often that you have two top 10 DT's in our state. We've got one of them committed already and he is a diehard Hog. We're looking to take two more DT's, one HS and one JUCO. We obviously want the home state kid but we're also after this kid heavily and its sounding like its a good chance that he is going to flip because of his relationship with Bielema and our DT coach from their time at Wisconsin.

Im saying that landing those two would ease the pain of losing Frazier.

per 247, Frazier had 65 tackles(3.5 sacks) last season... 100 total in two years.

He literally said he wasn't going to Arkansas and didn't like the Hogs.

We hired and coach B and things changed 180 degrees.

Everyone is an expert on a recruit if they are in his "top 5,10,15" all of a sudden.

I'll won't say he's a red flag at all. He's a very good DT and I hope we get him. I think he's USC bound though.

A&M is a serious player for his commitment. His Mom is from Houston and reportedly has interest in moving back

His Uncle played for the Bears alongside the A&M DL Coach.

Frazier and his Mom just spent a week in Houston, visited A&M, and reported the visit went very well.

Never said I was an expert smart guy. I only know posts that I read late last year.

Poster just joins SECrant and knows everything all of the sudden. See how that works.

Frazier's Gramma and auntie that lived in NWA and basically the reason his mom moved up here have both passed away.

His mom loves Coach B and Partridge and wants him to go to Arkansas, Bielema got Arkansas into the mix. We were flat out of it with the other idiots we had previously.

Moms seems to be getting some pretty nice job offers in H-town.

I think USC is where'd he'd pick if left to choose all on his own. A&M and Auburn are realistically the 2 leaders.

I'd rank 'em like this.

1a A&M
1b Auburn
3 USC
4 Arkansas
5 Alabama

This is why I need the hog boosters to allow me to start a slush fund. We could raise $20-$30 Million easy to initiallly fund it. Place those funds and the annual contributions in a endowment like hedge fund. We can syphon off Foundation donations, student fees, and raid the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery for an additional $4-5 Mil a year.

You sign with the Hogs, here's a lump sum $25K to get ya started. You talk; you die. We'll have incentive bonuses such as being a starter, reaching benchmark stats and grades, behavior stipulations and penalties, we can have them take student loans to explain the cash flow, and hopefully they'd put that $ in a savings acct to pay off the loan as soon as they exhaust eligibility. If they get bad with no degree, $40K in loan debt, and they spent all the cash, well shite, Tyson's and JB Hunt are right there to give them jobs.

We could dole out $40-$50K per player annually and not break a sweat.

Houston has a large number of good paying jobs that just go open because there aren't enough workers there. I wouldn't read anything underhanded in his Mom taking a job in Houston.

Not enough workers? Metro of 6 million people and 5.9 unemployment rate and there's just not enough people?

Kiehl Frazier's dad went from selling used cars in Arkansas to a fat gig selling steel products in Alabama after Kiehl signed.

We'll see how it plays out.

That was because they had a family member who passed away. Not because of A&M. Since they were there, they checked out the campus and all at aTm.

I am not 100%, but this may actually be the person who passed away.

Arkansas, USC, Auburn are probably the front runners.

No she doesnt. She is very secure in the job she has here.

I wouldn't even put Alabama on the list at this point. After Matt Elam's camp performance, I think that's the direction we're going. If another NG is added. Frazier is a great talent, but I think our staff realized he'll stay home or head to USC. End of story.

Just want to say that Joshua didn't "skip out" on the Arkansas camp this weekend. We had a death in the family and went to Texas to honor the life of our uncle with family. He was able to work in a visit to Texas A&M while we were there since they are not that far away. And the coaches at Arkansas are doing a tremendous job in their recruiting. They can't get inside anyone's head and control their thoughts.

Ugh, I feel like showering just because I went to that site to pull that off.

"I think she would follow me if I were to go to school in Texas," Frazier said when asked if his mother might follow him if he moved out of state. "She moved to Arkansas because my grandmother lived here and she wanted to be close to her mom. My Aunt also lived here. Both my Aunt and grandmother passed away, though, so there is pretty much nothing left for us up here. She does want me to finish out high school here though."
