Allen has said in several interviews that he will play Jack but he has said in a few that he will play ILB. Smart kid, so I feel he will be able to learn the playbook quickly. Hoping he will be an instant impact pass rusher.

i think he will be one of those guys that gets used in lots of places depending on matchup because of his physical abilities. He is 6'3" 255 and runs a 4.5. He should be a beast in the middle or coming off the edge.

Well, I think Walker is gonna have a future at Jack, so Allen will likely play Sam.

Yeah, and Ryan Anderson did too, but there was no intentions on him staying there.

They do so to see if they can play in space, Anderson can't as of his freshman year. His short arms don't suit well outside, so if he would have succeeded inside, I have little doubt they would have kept him there. He's still bouncing around positions as of this week, now it's SAM.

If Allen proves he can, which is what they want to find out by putting him there, he'll stay.
