I have seen him play and he is good, no doubt. He just didn't look like a d1 sec type player to me. Maybe he is a diamond in the rough or maybe he ran a great time at a showcase event and turned heads. I will assure you if he does play rb in college he will not see the field for many years.

Can you be considered a diamond in the rough when you have offers from A&M, Alabama, Arkansas, State, Mizzou, Okie St, Va Tech, and UTSA.

Believe that's what several of his offers was for. We even told him I believe we'd look at him at safety and he mentioned that.

He mentioned that LSU talked to him about playing safety. I think we go after him at RB if things fall through with Akers.

Eh, not sure we'd go for him before Carter, who has an offer, at RB. Carter we've put on the major back burner because the full court press has been on Akers for a while now. They think he's an LSU every down type back. They think Carter could fullfill that role too but his junior year put a lot of doubt into everyone it seems. Etienne I dont think they see as an every down back here, which is why they are telling him "hey what about safety!"

Yeah, I'm probably a little biased about Etienne but I do think the gap between him and Carter is closer than some think.

He is committed to Texas A&M to play RB, as opposed to other SEC teams talking to him about playing DB.

Arkansas would take him as a RB I am pretty sure, if we haven't already moved on since his aTm commitment.
