This is probably the worst aspect of the South. People with non-traditional Southern views get marginalized or called "weird". Everything else is pretty cool.

Not true. Has more to with Obama having the worst job approval rating since WW2 and Obamacare which is raping the middle class.

So you are saying that a school a kid favors doesn't have an advantage over any other school that offers them a scholarship? How many of the kids listed earlier, with the exception of CJ, were not considered ole miss leans from the beginning?

Don't be stupid. If that was the case, Mullen would have never accepted schollys from guys like Brassell and Moore. He wouldn't have let an automatic steal happen for Ole Miss. He clearly thought he could sign them.

I think we should start another thread so we can actually talk about how Peters doesn't like Ole Miss.

That's neither here nor there, relative to the discussion. But the trolling Alabama fan thinks I shouldn't be a fan of my Alma mater because of my politics. He wants to cry about the perception of the South on one hand and toss insults on the other. Cake and eat it too?

All I'm saying is ole miss already had the upper hand with these kids regardless of who they were committed to. I think everyone including Mullen would have been shocked if Brassell and/or Moore would have signed with State. It just wasn't going to happen.

Still just making shite up to throw against a wall?

I was one of the first to call Kailo overrated and a paper recruiting victory that wouldn't likely amount to much -- before he even committed to us. Here he is -- almost 2 years later -- and he's a 3rd string cornerback on a team that has little depth at the position -- where he's likely to be surpassed by at least one true freshman. Yep -- mid/high 4* that you pwned MSU for!!1!1

...one year later?

...just switched positions?

...picked it up on spot and has looked really good?

...top 3 fastest player in SEC?

...little depth? Our defensive backfield is arguably the best in the SEC. Golson, Jones, Hilton, Shepard, Webster, and Moore could be the best 3-deep in the SEC. Y'alls 2013 class was dreadful. Your second best player was handed to you(Shumpert) because no one had a spot for him.

You cannot tell me you would not take Moore over 75% of that class...frick it, you're engie, why am I even thinking you can be logical?

He was a freshman...we haven't even seen him go to work. Moore would have been above Shump on the depth chart at MSU this past year...Fact.

Yeah, I know what you were saying. I like to twist some things here and there just to strike up a discussion. Respect for actually conversing and not bullshitting back

Kailo was one of those guys that both fanbases seemed to realize was overrated. Sort of like Damian Robinson for us.

I don't think he's overrated. I just think he is in a tough backfield. We have a lot of RB's of equal skill. The thing about Kailo is his weaknesses can be improved through coaching. He has the speed, shiftiness, and quick feet.

Of course you don't think so, because you're a homeristic mother fricker.

Hahaha, I'm so far from homeristic. What is homeristic about thinking a guy, who was a freshman last season and has his speed, is not a bust? Can he be? Surely, tons of players are. But the kid has played one season...it IS homeristic for engie to call him a bust and say "he told us so."

But, call me what you'd like, I've definitely been called worse.
