Georgia commit Jacob Eason will announce his choice tomorrow.

Logic dictates he wouldn't be announcing if he was going to the school he committed to 18 months ago.

He's going to UGA just adding drama. I've seen this a thousand times and everyone that has done this has reaffirmed their commitment except Dalvin Cook. He'll say he wants to help UGA return to glory, been committed 18 months he fell in love with the school, bonded with UGA commits, Kirby is a great hire and he's comfortable with Chaney.

This. Hard to pull away from friendships he's built with other commits.

Was good drama!

I hope you are right. Reminds me of Stafford's recruitment. The Eason family has a single goal for their college choice- get Jacob to the NFL. It's not like he grew up going to games in Athens. I have no idea what to expect tomorrow....although I do like our chances.

I think the Easons were blindsided by the Richt firing.

That sort of pushed them to finding an alternate team in the SEC.

My guess is after meeting with Kirby and selling them on Chaney (very tough sell IMO) he reaffirmed his commitment.

Unfortunately for UGA Eason will make Chaney look good lol.

Hopefully correct. I do think if UF's QB situation was as dire as ours he would probably go to Florida. He could be half as good as we hope and still start the moment he moves into his dorm.

Would be awesome if he announced he wasn't going to early enroll and will make his official announcement on NSD. UGA and UF would chew off their finger nails all the way down to their palms by then. Lol

Oh yeah. Too many things don't add up for us. Mainly his dad never coming on a visit to Gainesville. Plus with how long he was committed to UGA, even if he didn't like Smart he would not disrespect UGA by picking UF this way. IMO he would announce he is de committing to weigh his options and then pick UF, which didn't happen.

Get get UGA.

Now go to hell!!

UFs 247 mod released an update...

Said Eason is intrigued by being developed at UF as a QB. However, his relationships with current UGA commits is too steep to overcome. Sticking with UGA on the "announcement".

As a UF fan, we are in perfect position. Already have a top 5 QB committed, so getting Eason would be gravy. If he picks UGA, Franks is more than capable of being a great college QB.

Did the Mod give a time of the announcement?

OP will need to be on suicide watch if Eason chooses the good guys.
