He did a large AMA on reddit saying why he wanted to go to ND. He's not going to A&M.

The better question is how many Louisiana kids on the Texas A&M roster did LSU actually offer and recruit and the answer is 1 kid Speedy Noil that's it.

If he wants to be a doctor someone should introduce him to Dr James Andrews and have Dr Andrews explain to him why a medical degree at LSU ain't all bad.

I don't post much. Just read usually but this needs my 2 cents. The kid is trying to get into college right now. Not medical school. Eventually he wants to go to medical school so he is looking for a strong undergrad premed program. Medical schools respect a degree from TAMU. I had more Aggie classmates at my med school than from any other undergrad. And yes "technically" I am the kind of doctor he wants to be. I "technically" am an ER physician at a "trauma" center. Did I put enough "emphasis" on that for you?

Update: He quit talking to A&M coaches, claiming that he is talking to nobody but ND. So, it looks like too little too late.

Yeah, he said he is honoring his commitment and has basically shut it down. If this was a football decision, he would be at LSU, but the kid is focused on more than being a jock.
