Jalen Hurts will be at Bama for a lot of years, and he's going to get most of the carries. The current Bama is nothing like the Bama of the past 8-10 years, so I would be amazed at the top backs choosing the Tide.

Do you really think that Saban is gonna ride his money-in-the-bank QB with a bunch of carries and get him hurt? The fact that he can run will open things up much more for the RBs via the read option.

Bro... you have Bama fans committing murder by shooting a fellow Bama fan in the fricking Face over a football game.

Somehow I think one is much more likely to get in shot just about anywhere in LA than AL.

Have you watched Najee run? Hurts can run but Najee is on a different level. If he sticks then he will get more than enough carries.

Same reason we kept getting great WRs when weren't considered a passing team. They want to wear a NC ring the rest of their life. And like other posters said Hurts can not be our RB for 2-3 more years. He won't last.

I hate Alabama as much as the next guy but this is just a dumb question... The better question is why would any big time RB choose LSU after watching LF accomplish nothing of real note in 3 seasons...

n excellent post! Alabama has put at least 1 RB (2 last year) in the NFL every year since Saban arrived, with 2 taking a Heisman with them when they left. Couple that with annually one of the best Olines in the country and a powerhouse team known for their run game you should start to get a clue.

So they don't have to play against our defense and have their draft stock go through the floor when they can't gain more than 49 yards

In a rebuilding year for the RB corps, Burton Burns does it again. Even with the added dynamic of a running QB, three Alabama RBs will finish with 500 yards or more. Harris will top 1000. Should be even better in 2017 with a veteran OL, only replacing Cam Robinson. Add Najee Harris to the mix. And BJ Emmons back from injury.
