Probably true on Lawson, kid will be a potential game changer in a 4-3. Havent watched a ton of film on him, but I see some similarities to Lemonier.
His first step is so explosive. I was watching a video of the white team UA practice doing DL vs OL, Lawson was blowing by all of them. Jones stood out in the video too. He had some great moves. Haven't really watched Nkemdiche or Vanderdoes though.

Haha not a good year to play OL at the Under Armour game.
Honestly as good as Lawson is, he's 2nd IMO as far as potential to Foster in your class. A healthy, tuned in Rueben Foster is not something you want to deal with as an OC. I saw some film from the Miss-AL all-star game and he looked like he was going to physically hurt someone.

Actually I think I remember one of the coaches told him to pull up on the reigns a little in practice so they could keep everybody healthy.
Haven't really checked out Bama's class this year. For some reason we haven't been going after many similar players. I'm sure there's a bunch of playmakers though. What do y'all think about Liner? He seemed to have a lackluster performance the whole week in Orlando. Just wondering if I'm butthurt or he's just a little overrated.

Haha I think its a really good question. I always wonder about kids from that area because I just dont see the level of football being the same as B'ham or especially Mobile. Based on film he isn't first tier (ie Nkemdiche, Jones, etc) but hes a solid pickup.
I don't think the question with him is talent as much as whether he has the drive to play hard every down and learn the techniques he'll need to be a difference maker.
Best guess he'll either wash out in 1-2 years after getting in Saban's doghouse or he locks in and turns into a 2 year starter with NFL upside. Totally up to him.

Too many dumbasses just looking to stir the pot these days IMO. Glad to meet one of the good ones.
