I wouldn't bet against St. Nick.

I bet A'Shawns play had some to do with the pick. God we are so fricking good. I almost feel bad for the rest of the SEC. Almost.

He mentioned that out of his choices we actually had the most true freshman playing significant minutes

Right. When Leonard chooses LSU, it will be by the SLIMMEST of margins and JUST at the last minute as it is with 99% of recruits who Alabama is after.

Y'all are getting Hootie also. I will be expecting some transfers from this class, to much talent to be sitting around IMO.

It's obviously conventional wisdom that he'll stay home.. hell, Les has made the insane gamble by taking no other backs.. we all know the story.

Quit getting so defensive. If he's as much of a lock as y'all think than laugh off my harmless comment. I don't think we land him but I wouldn't be shocked. Nothing shocks me anymore with Nick pulling the strings in recruiting. He is the GOAT.

If they transfer it's because they were beat out by better players. I won't lose sleep over it.

We've won 3 championships while these kids have been in high school. It obviously makes a difference.

That's nice of Saban to leave them loaded when he leaves for Texas.

Yea not too many close ones like today. Usually we know one way or the other. Trey Depriest was the last one that had a big announcement off the top of my head. He chose Bama over instate school Ohio State. There was even talk of a silver and garnet cake at the announcement ceremony which got Bama fans extra worried. Plus the Braxton Miller was at the announcement.

Before that I remember Malcolm Mitchells who went to UGA of course. Most thought he would end up at Bama up until a couple days before.

There may have been a couple more since Depriest but that's off the top of my head.

Da’Shawn will make it the 6th straight Rivals #1 player to commit to a current (DGB '12 MIZ) #SEC school.

These kids aren't fans they are making business decisions. Its like going to work for CompuServe instead of Google because you don't want to be a frontrunner.
