As I've said before, with some knowledge of the situation, you may land Warrior, but you'll have to come from behind to get him. He and Deangelo Gibbs (2017) would sign with Bama if signing day were today. Predicting where a 17-18 year old will sign is very difficult several weeks out (let alone 14+ months in the case of Gibbs), but it would be Bama right now. UGa was a distant third for Warrior.

If Georgia hires Kirby and keeps Pruitt as DC you can forget about Mecole, Brown, and Warrior.

If Smart goes to Georgia Anyone think Bama makes a run at Pruitt?

UGA was never getting Warrior.

Maybe. But it'd be a lateral move at this point. I don't think Pruitt leaves again until it's for a HC position. Dude has a pretty stout reputation developing at UGA as a DC right now.

No, Pruitt always planned to go with Smart to his first HC job. They are best friends.

Look, I'm a big Georgia fan and recognize their place in the SEC hierarchy, but that statement is blatantly false at this point in time.

potential and resource wise, its actually UGA favored. If both schools had the same staff, UGA would rape. Bama has the better coaches while UGA is a much better school in a much better town.

Oh I agree Georgia has the potential to be the better of the two jobs, but I was responding to the fact he said "At this point."

That's just not true at this point in time.
