Is someone seriously suggesting Arkansas has only recently recruited Louisiana???WTF?? Of course they have, there isn't enough talent in Arkansas to field a D1 team...they have to and its ok...everyone can't go to LSU and a few just would rather leave the state...it's all good but please don't post idiotic statements like that

Yea, but I'm not suggesting it, because it's a fact. I don't recall us ever recruiting Louisiana much until Nutt and then it was sporadic, at best. In my 40 years of watching Arkansas football, Bielema's the first Arkansas head coach I remember who recruited Louisiana hard.

And when we have recruited Louisiana, it's been almost exclusively in the Northern part, whereas we're now recruiting Southern LA hard, too.

You guys sucked through most of the 90s, as well. I remember Memphis beating Arkansas a couple of times with middle of the road teams. Arkansas is kinda like Ole Miss, just with 3 trips to Atlanta, but fewer overall titles.

Yea, that's because the bottom fell out of our program in 1990. We did struggle in the 90's, but we're not the one pretending that we've always been strong.

90's.

Jack Crowe. Joe Kines. Danny Ford.

And Houston Nutt for ten long years.

Thanks a lot, Frank.

Bobby and his motorcycle. Thanks, Bobby.

John L. Smith.

It is no wonder at all, that the SEC laughs at us.

It is POSSIBLE...that Jeff Long has found us a decent coach in Bret Bielema. I AM hopeful. But we have to work our way out of a lot of years of mediocrity.

Arkansas...is not a mediocre place to live. Or study. I'm proud to be a Hog, in every way.

But Frank sucked at hiring coaches.

Quiz grade are a fine accomplishment in the short term. Try acing a few tests for the first time in 50 years if you want some real respect. Final grades are what matter.

Auburn and Florida get respect year in and year out, even if you guys have a better record or win a game head to head because they have won SEC and National Titles. Same for LSU. Obviously Bama has the most, and deservedly so.

If your program is to be looked at with a higher regard than Ole Miss and State, that only comes with titles. Your fans comments to us about two in a row, like Ole Miss' fans to Bama fans, will just get brushed aside as meaningless until this happens.

You say you don't care, then continue to comment

Look, I get it. You see your program as so far and above ours it stings a little. You guys see yourself as the same level as bama, it's understandable you feel slighted by an instate kid.

Doesn't mean you should consistently flame the recruiting board with your insecurities

I will be surprised if he commits somewhere other than LSU or UF, but that is because of the news that is out there. You just have very little evidence to support your case. In the grand scheme of things, if he does go to Arkansas, it's one guy. With him or without him, LSU will finish with a top 3 class, and would still have a great shot at number 1. I don't get crazy over the decisions of one 17 year old kid, regardless of where he lives.

The responses you see here are mostly due to you and some of your fellow Hog brethren talking both here and on the LSU Recruiting board, and then backing off and claiming trolling when your bold predictions don't pan out. I'll give you one thing, at least your have stuck to your story on White, as wrong as you may be.

No reasonable LSU fan thinks the program is equal to Bama, either historically or currently. Auburn, UGA, and UF, absolutely. For comparison, I'm sure you guys don't see A&M as a far superior program right now, even though you have lost how many is it now in a row to them on the field. And you shouldn't. Arkansas IS the better right now, despite all of A&M's advantages. If they don't make big changes, the results on the field will eventually reflect that.. We just view you guys the same, exact way. That's all I was getting at. Like you said, fact, not trolling.

well since you like facts, our record against LSU under miles isn't far from even.

Since the final score is truly what matters, Tiger Stadium, or Death Valley, or whatever you call it isn't as intimidating to us as Tiger fans want to believe.

LSU is simply a middle of the pack program any more, that is all. Once was considered much more. But the decline is evident. Since you like facts...

I would say the expectations are still very different right now. One school's coach was on the hot seat after 8 and 9 win seasons. The other's is lauded for the same or worse.

Your best recent shot was 2011. How did that end up?

Until 1/9/12 our record against Nick Saban was 4-2. Now it's 4-6

My point is shite happens.

What's your point?

Miles is 6-4 against Arkansas. I'll take 60% against SEC west teams all day.

+1 on trolling two enemies with one passage. But we have a much better track record against A&M then LSU does, so I don't know what you mean by "right now"?

We're 10-14 against LSU in conference games and that includes the worst era of Arkansas football in at least 60 years. Speaking of 60 years, that's how far you have to go back to find the games responsible for the large gap in the LSU/Arkansas series.

What is Arkansas' record against A&M this decade? Seems pretty clear to me. Still, despite the recent losses, Arkansas has at least managed to win the West.

Lefty08 you put up a good front but for someone to drag on a conversation that is obviously going nowhere and to let typical posters get under your skin shows some lack of maturity on your part. Especially when you make a comment about a poster being in their 20's when you constantly fire back with the same comments over and over again like a teenager arguing with a parent.

I'm 60% LSU, 30% Florida and 10% Arkansas on confidence of where Fulton will go. That is based on things his dad has posted on our recruiting board and various things I have read through different sites.

Thanks for the comment. There is absolutely a lack of maturity on this board. I won't argue with that.

I will say that the reason I keep repeating the same argument is because it's true, and you guys are not necessarily flexible in your viewpoints
