LOL, They are the worst and they will also update their ranking soon. You guys still have a good class though.

Rankings are cool and all for message board bragging rights, but at the end of the day a kid is the same player whether he gets ranked 50th or 500th by the websites

Regardless of how you view ESPN's rankings, at least they don't update their rankings as much as the others. I don't get the reasoning of updating twice after the season is over. Once, yeah but twice? Well, I'm being biased

While 247 does have it's own rating system, most use their composite as the gold standard. That composite takes into account 247, rivals, scout and espn and would therefore technically need to be updated anytime any website updates their ratings.

It's the worst but it's the most important for publicity because the signing day specials on ESPNU will show the ESPN rankings. Not 247 or Rivals or Scout.

I mean the coaches at the all star game thought the same thing so it's not a huge stretch.

You guys had no problem touting them when they ranked your class high. The simple fact is all of the team rankings from all four services are incredibly similar, so I'm not sure there is an appreciable difference in any of them. There's no way to accurately rank thousands of high school players anyway, considering the many big times busts and the underrated recruits that become stars.
