What does that have to do with anything? He plays for Bama and was committed to Auburn.

There is no way that you guys believe this whole "Auburn flipped Foster but Alabama didn't really flip Callaway, Yeldon or Kounadjo" line that you guys have been pushing today.

I didn't say they didn't flip them but the only one he flipped that was truly an Auburn commit was Yeldon. CK was never even solid to Auburn and the same day he announced he wasn't sure. BC was a bama commit to start with. Whats funny is the ones acting like Saban goes and picks out what Auburn commits he wants and they flip every year.

Yeah, he couldn't flip Shon Coleman after much effort.

Yeah he of course can't flip any player he wants from Auburn.

True. Nobody ever said we get everyone we go after. Point is, Saban can and will flip AU commits very often not only because we may want that player, but it also sends a message. Like others have said though, looking at AU's current commit list--there really isn't anyone currently there we are really after. So maybe AU is off the hook this year.

There will be a price to pay for what au did today. Don't think for one minute that Saban will not play the game. He invented the game.
Ps laugh if you will, but bookmark it, there will be payback. He is just that kind of person.

Well, this year's beatdown will bring it to 4 outta the last 5, with no real light at the end of the tunnel for Auburn.. against Bama at least. They're already paying. Luckily, Bama has the luxury of being able to miss out on some big time players, and still dominate. See Keenan Allen. Congrats to Auburn for getting a great player!

Did they? That was silly of them, but I hope you are saying they will fight hard from now on. I like when Auburn fights hard..

All of this talk is funny. Please don't get me wrong I do not like losing a great talent like Foster one bit. But I'm not concern about losing him either because he's a middle linebacker.

You can go back to the 2007 class and Alabama has had great success with middle linebackers.
2007 Rolando McClain, 2008 Donta Hightower,
2009 Nico Johnson, 2010 CJ Mosley, 2011 Trey Depriest. I have not doubt Reggie Ragland will continue this trend.

Posts like this show why these coaches make $6 mil a year and you don't.

Unlike you, Saban isn't a pussy bitch that will let a bruised ego guide his recruiting decisions. shite I'd think the Saban fans would rather describe him as being a guy totally focused on getting the best players possible, not someone who flips players to "send messages" after having one of his flipped.

If he "invented" the game as you describe, then he's probably more than capable making rational rather than emotionally-driven strategies.

I believe this is what coaches are really about..

But you know there is just a little of this thrown in there, too.. It does make it fun!

No, I think when you realize how much work he puts into the grind and how he wins by getting the best players he can, it doesn't cross his mind to flip a player as revenge. He'll flip a player (if he's able to) because he wants to.

I swear the Bama fans have turned Saban into a comic book super hero. Adding little wrinkles and fictional narratives to his badassery. It's creepy.

Ok.. I guess the whole copying Yeldon's remarks verbatim was just Reuben havin a little fun.. I agree with you, but I don't believe the coaching staffs are completely above a little gamesmanship..

Callaway was a bama commit first, we should have never had a chance with Cyrus, it's amazing we got him to commit. Don't see it happening this year.

both of those guys wanted to sign with Auburn.

some random white man took Callaway to the beach before signing day and Cyrus' parents wouldn't sign the papers for him go to Auburn since his bro was at Bama.

Still upset about those guys even after the Foster flip
