First, our coaching staff was in starkville, and no, no, no they did not go see Kalio.
As to Daniel, MSU had a big in home visit this week. I do mean the bulk of the staff including CDM. IT went very well, but that does not mean that we are a lock to get him.
Also, UF is not recruiting him anymore. They canceled his visit. IT's MSU and UM.

I'd honestly put odds at 65% OM, 35% MSU at this point.
We did have a in-home last week with at least Brewster, Collins, Mullen, and Turner... So we've given him our best shot...

Freeze and the gang were in his house Wed. as well. Really would love to get this guy. DL would be incredible for years to come with this class and the guys we have now.
Not sure where he stands, but it seems like a lot of people see him leaning towards us. I hope they are right.

I think the Robert Nkemdiche effect will be too much for the bulldogs to overcome.

Mostly agree. The Chris Jones effect has to play well for us -- even though it probably is too little too late with ED.
Thing is -- I still think whichever of us doesn't get Daniel still has a decent chance with Carr(assuming Bama doesn't lock him up this weekend), which is basically an equal tradeoff IMO.
A chance we could both get 2 elite highschool DEs this year -- and both get an elite JUCO DT if we can lock down Johnson(which also depends on whether he's a take for UGA, which I'm doubting -- otherwise, why visit MSU?)

Supposedly he went to ASU this weekend but I'm in Phoenix and I was at the AU vs ASU game yesterday. He didn't go to the game if he was in town.

No time set. I wouldn't be surprised if he commits to a staff and sets up a press conference on MLK or Tuesday. We shall see.

ED isn't having an actual press conference type deal to announce. He is simply calling the school of his choice and letting them know, from my understanding. Thus, doesn't really have an exact time.
