And Kirby will tell he and his family they can frick right off. You don't burn bridges like this and expect everything to be A-OK.

I was responding to dude saying DR would want to come back to UGA after a year at Nebraska. I don't think Kirby would welcome him back.

He's not the #1 QB.

Idk, the family connections at Nebraska make this case a little different. I don't disagree that he is the type of kid to do that based on his HS transfer history, but IDK if he would do that to a school his family is so closely tied to.

Georgia probably has a stud transfer coming

Only if Beck goes pro. Indications are that Beck is returning....but we'll see. Rumors are that the Duke QB is one we would target. (Riley Leonard)

There is definitely smoke. One rumor from a pretty reliable source says he has already flipped but hasn't made it public yet. Why a kid would flip but keep it a secret? I have no idea.

His team in Georgia is/was stacked every year.

Weeeeeell....stacked is true. but stacked primarily on the defensive side of the ball and they are a run first team, not known for throwing the ball around a lot. I think thye did throw a bit more this past season, but still not what you might expect. His receivers were not great, either.

Leonard is ND bound so it won’t be him.

He is on 247 and was the #1 player overall for a lot of the cycle.

I remember when he flipped from OSU I told some UGA fans on here that he may well not be done flipping. His family seems to be the type who wants to control situations inside a locker room (rumor was his dad wanted to be involved in the new OC for OSU being hired)

Nebraska what the hell. Who the hell wants to live and play in Nebraska. That program is a dumpster fire. Even with a top QB it can’t be revived imo.

Tbh the ship has sailed imo. No top recruits consistently want to go to Nebraska to play and live. Too many other powerhouse brands that are relevant imo. Especially with big10 merge in UCLA , Oregon , uw , usc coming. What top recruits are going to choose Cornhuskers over Michigan , Ohio state , ducks , uw , usc , Penn state , UCLA etc.

He visited 2 power house 7-A Gwinnett County schools before landing at Buford. Both told him and his dad he had to compete for the starting position it would not be given to him. Wound up at Buford.

He’s still not going to do that. It’s bad for future recruiting.

I am hoping that his committing to ND indicates that Beck told our coaches he is returning.

McCord is going to Nebraska

McCord is also not an entrenched starter at Nebraska. Between Beck staying and supposedly DR's family being upset about our hard push for Juju Lewis on a recent recruiting visit (a 2026 guy of all things), it seems as though he's insecure with the idea of competition for the spot.
