Vols & Shaft used to be cool but then he got caught up in spats with Bear in North Mississippi and AC in a different thread. Now he wants to throw all of us in a mass grave or something. All I wanted to do was be Rant friends but he figuratively denied my fictional Rant friend request.

I consider myself one of the more level headed posters. I don't hold grudges and take each post as it is and I think many will back that up. Hell, I even cheered for OM to make a run in the West.
That said, I think the issue is really that a cadre of posters (small yes but loudmouhed) went all out trolling us. I never did figure out why but that's what I saw. It made no sense whatsoever given we don't even share a division and rarely play but it was obnoxious as frick and lowbrow/cheap to boot. Vol & Shaft reacts in extreme ways -- when you get him mad nothing is off limits.
The whole weird rant feud is dying down but I think that's the genesis. Aa more time passes I think things will go back to normal.
That's my 2 cents anyway. Here's to normalcy returning.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least. I have no problem calling out my own, I just didn't see it this go around. So this is just my perspective on it. I'm just glad it's finally dying.

It started when ole miss fans got upset that they didn't get Bussey, Kirkland or Richmond. They then started with the whole processing stuff. UT fans took exception to that.
