Ole Miss on the roster or in the Freeze era off the top of my head:

-Robert Nkemdiche: Clemson flip, will be a top 5-10 pick next year (LSU fans, don't derail this thread over this, he will be)

-Kailo Moore: committed to us then flipped to State then back. Hasn't done anything aside from recover the fumble against Alabama.

-Jordan Wilkins: Auburn flip. He redshirted but figures to be good next year.

-Tee Shepard: State flip. High potential but got hurt in preseason.

-Christian Morgan: Flipped from FSU. No longer on the team.

-Markell Pack: Flipped from FSU. Hasn't caught a punt cleanly since 2004.

-Austin Golson: Flipped from FSU. My thoughts are with his beloved grandparents.

-AJ Jackson: Flipped from FSU. Went to JuCo, sucked, and is now out of football.

-Sean Rawlings: State flip. Redshirted but may be a good center one day.

-Quincy Adeboyejo: A&M flip. Productive, nothing special but not a bust at all.

-CJ Johnson: State flip. He's been awesome.

-Christian Russell: A&M flip. Very good linebacker.

-Marquis Haynes: UNC flip. SEC All-Freshman.

-Gary Wunderlich: UVA flip. Good kicker and he throws punches.

He was the #2 back in his class, #28 player overall.

He had 2 1000 yard seasons, 1 979 yard season, 37 TDs and the following performances in big games

2012 SECCG vs UGA : 25 carries, 153 yards, 1 TD
2013 BCS Title game vs ND : 21 carries, 108 yards, 1 TD
2013 vs LSU : 25 carries, 133 yards, 2 TD
2013 @ Auburn : 26 carries, 141 yards, 1 TD
2014 @ Ole Miss : 20 carries, 123 yards
2014 vs Auburn : 19 carries, 127 yards, 2 TD
2014 SECCG : 14 carries, 47 yards, 2 TDs

What exactly was he hyped to be? Adrian Peterson?

He was a 5-star guy who was lucky a 4-star guy (Lacey) decided to turn pro.

TJ Yeldon wasn't a world beater.

Bama would have probably had the exact same results with or without him.

He had 1,000 yards his freshman year with Lacy on the roster............including the UGA and Notre Dame games.

I don't know what the definition of "world beater" is but Yeldon was an all-conference type back who helped win us championships. Totally lived up to whatever expectations I had for him.

Well we most definitely would not have beaten Georgia in 2012 without him, so that isn't true.

Was he committed to LSU at one point?

I must've missed that. I thought he just committed to Tennessee.

DaVonte Lambert seems to be doing pretty well at Auburn.

Yeldon got 6 yards on a 3rd and 5 in which he broke 4 tackles. The next play AJ hit Coop for the winning TD.

Like I said, without TJ, we dont win that game.

Myles Garrett is what robert was supposed to be, how about cracking the all sec team before you place him in the top 10 in college football. #homer

Was Tre Mason committed to Ole Miss at one point? That'd be a better flip than Yeldon.

no, but they were favored to land him until Auburn pushed late IIRC

So you are only asking about the flip, flops. Not the flips?

I read an article about this topic a while back and the more times a kid decommits the less likely they are to have success. One time flips didn't do bad, but kids that flipped more then 3 times didn't fare so well.

It takes someone that is pretty unstable to change 3 or 4 times.

Some of the kids just aren't smart enough to realize they need to take their time, take their visits, listen to the sales pitches, do their own homework, and when the right feel comes around and they feel at ease with the choice then commit.

But coaches these days no longer if you committed to a school since they will hunt for players until the ink is dry.

To answer your question, Dalvin Cook of FSU did pretty well last year.

Fumbled how many times against Oregon?
