Because you have an agenda and you know where the LSU fans are.

Well LSU has lost 6 straight to Alabama. And has a series record of 25-51-5 versus Alabama. So...

And what's that record look like during this century? Didn't we kick your asses on a regular basis up through 2011? Bama has been kicking everyone's asses over the past 6 years and that's an awesome accomplishment. You should learn to enjoy it while it lasts. I'm quite sure that it's mostly due to one person and we know him very well. He's 65 so...

He was the best WR in the last class IMO.

I posted this to another LSU fan just the other day that thinks college football started in 1999. It's relevant here as well:

quote:

Alabama holds a 51-25-5 record over LSU.

Alabama is 10-9 against LSU since 1999.

Before 1999 Alabama led 41-16-5.

So in the best run in your program's history you still have a losing record to Alabama. As for enjoying it while it lasts, I think the last sentence shows we've been enjoying it for a long arse time.

Now, back to why I opened this thread to begin with.

Devonta Smith says he will definitely take an OV to Alabama and Miami.

He may take one to LSU. He hasn't decided yet.

Matt Canada wasted little no getting in contact with Louisiana’s No. 1 prospect, and apparently, it’s paying dividends.

DeVonta Smith, the 4-star wide receiver from Amite (La.) High, spent part of Thursday on the phone with LSU’ new offensive coordinator.

All indications are that those conversations went extremely well. Smith is now in the process of scheduling his final official visit with LSU, a source told SEC Country.

Exactly. And I'll be the first to say that the Bama football team has been on an amazing run and I can't imagine what that would feel like as a fan. Why would any real Bama fan GAF about another fanbase expressing optimism or wanting better? Did you quit on Bama during the early stretch of the current 9-9 record?

It's relevant here as well:

What's relevant is that LSU strives for greatness and we've won 2 National Championships within the timeframe that I mentioned. Compared to most schools, that's a great accomplishment. I'll say this again, what Bama has accomplished during that same timeframe 2000-2016 is amazing. Learn to be humble mother fricker. Do you act like a jackass to LSU fans IRL 24/7? If so, you must have had your teeth knocked out which explains your angst with LSU.

Some people would say that football isn't relevant because they like baseball.

Why? Are they buddies like Kiffin and O?

Idk maybe. FTR Idc if Kiffin and O are buddies or not. I think they are, but would never believe Kiffin would go work for someone that use to call you boss. It's not to say his ego would get in the way, but psychologically I could see it being a mental step backwards.

More or less just a smart move based on his influence with Northern LA recruits. Would you not agree?

No deal. I doubt you could pluck Thomas at this point even if you tried. You don't really gain any pluses either. He's from NJ. He doesn't have an established territory is excellent at gaining trust of the recruit and family. Alabama has Nick Saban for that. Alabama also wouldn't have him on the recruiting trail as a coach.

The benefits to LSU of Pettito at LSU are far greater. Not from a hurting Saban aspect, which he already was held in high acclaim by the state even prior to landing at Alabama, but from a repairing of the fence aspect.
