His recruitment still baffles the hell out of me! Don't understand what made him choose the gumps after telling the LSU staff many times he would be ours. He was all LSU forever then mysteriously is all Bama in the month before the UAAG. Money talks I guess

Adams wasn't on the radar until Hootie originally committed to bama. You know it and I know it. LSU would have gladly accepted his commitment 2 months ago

No, the kid never said he was going to lsu. They were always a school he was interested in and the LSUrb just assumed he was coming because his sister was at LSU.
Just like they assumed Noil and Willis were coming because they were from NOLA and the infallible Frank Wilson was recruiting them. All the "LSU locks" were conjoured up in the minds of the lsurb posters. Every time Noil or Willis talked about how much they liked another school it was always "They're just trolling guys, relax"
The thought process was this way because as evidenced yesterday, your pysche has a hard time handling recruits leaving louisiana or spurning lsu. None of the guys that lsu lost ever named lsu their lone leader. One day y'all will learn that a "lock" doesn't exist, especially one that isn't committed when January starts.
