Yeah, there's a reason Bama recruits always seem to be climbing in rankings, and its not cause all the sites have some "Bama bias." Saban is one of the best player evaluators in all of football, so he recruits the players that he knows will only get better. That's the main reason the Bama recruits are always the most impressive

Or that he isn't as good as ANY of the other WRs on our board. He doesn't suck, but he's rated below all of our other targets. And let's just be honest. Bama could do much better, too. We all know that. This was only about Cam Rob for you guys. And hey, it worked. Nice job. But I'll be shocked if he ever sees significant PT at Bama.
Did Sims ever get his grades in order? I know there were a lot of questions there.

Sometimes you take the kid that is still pretty talented, a top 100 and can bring a bigger need position player possibly to the school, like uuuhhhhh Cam Robinson

All this gloating from bama fans yet, most of you are forgetting that he wasn't even a take for you until several others fell through. I seem to remember a certain Shannon Terry stating he was certain Sims was not a take for Bama only weeks before his verbal.

I always saw him as a take and said as much, couldn't understand why he wasn't, what he lacks he makes up for in determination and he will outwork anyone

I wasn't saying he was a lock the whole time. I don't think any recruit is a lock to go anywhere, otherwise, there would be no reason for the coaches to even bother keeping in contact. I was simply saying that fans who always wanna claim that recruiting websites have a "Bama bias" aren't right at all. If anything, this year the sites would have a LSU bias, considering all the sites are favoring them to get like 6 or 7 of the 5-stars.

Les probably shoulda offered him anyway, though, cause he probably ended up being the thing that swung Big Cam to us. Its ok... Y'all are gonna have a great class, too. You don't have to try to talk down the Bama recruits to feel better about yours
